KUMBLA is….

… a Collective Space, for artists and creatives inspired by the life and work of Robert “Bobby” Clarke.

Picture of Bobby Clarke

KUMBLA is the healing space from which Bobby lived his life, taught and created.

He called his home in Port Maria, KUMBLA.

A place where lost Souls could find rest and a chance to regroup.

KUMBLA is a space of art, healing, reflection, ritual and stories.

“There was always food and reasoning, nature walks, and music and mediation…. every space in that house had a vibe on it.”

The KUMBLA FESTIVAL, is a multi-layered event that honours the life and work of this great artist, friend and teacher. The festival is produced collectively by Bobby’s students, and friends, on his birthday, beginning in November 2021.

It reflects his ethos of…

“Every mickle mek a muckle”
“Each one teach one”
“One-one coco full basket”
